Copacabana is a tourist town located right on the shore of Lake Titicaca – a good place to rest for a day or two. After spending months in very desolated parts of Argentina and Bolivia I don’t mind being around travellers again, even though Copacabana is probably just a bit too touristic to my taste.
With so many cheap hotels and hostels in town, my goal was to find a room for less 6 dollars with lake view and Wifi. That was perhaps a bit too ambitious. I didn’t managed to get the lake view, but my 5$ room was nice enough.
From Copacabana the border with Peru is only half an hour away by bike. A new country coming up, something I’m very excited about!
