It was quite late before I made it back to my tent yesterday, so waking up was even harder than normal. After packing the bicycles we met with Romtze and Arie for a classic Roti Chennai breakfast. A nice chance to say goodbye and thanks for the great welcome to Sungai Besar!
We didn’t have to cycle long alone. Already in the next city, the former capital Kuala Selangor, more persons were waiting for us. We were treated for dinner in a peaceful restaurant on a hill above the city. The same hill is also home to an old Dutch fort – obviously interesting for Marius who comes from Holland.
5 kilometers outside of Klang a huge thundercloud was building up in front of us. We took an extended tea break and waited two hours before cycling into the city. Tomorrow should be an interesting day. I will pass the 10000 km mark while cycling into Kuala Lumpur!
