Maybe it was the strong espresso that Ewa made before I left in the morning, but even after going out last night I had the fastest day on the trip with a 21 km/h average speed today.
I also passed the first 1000 km mark. That is always a nice feeling.
In Gliwice I met Alex who is another radio friend. I had asked Alex if he knew a cheap hostel in town, but when I arrived he took me to a nice hotel and wouldn’t let me pay for it. What a treat Alex. Thanks a lot!
We then went to have a beer and stopped by the local radio club before going to dinner.
What a great last three days it has been with a lot of social activity. Poland is indeed a great country to be in!
